Exile on Main St
The Rolling Stones, released in 1972 (UK), rock.
- Artist: The Rolling Stones
- Year: 1972
- Genre: Rock

Overview
A sprawling double album recorded partly in the basement of Nellcote, the villa Keith Richards rented in the south of France while the band lived as tax exiles. Its murky mix of rock, blues, country and gospel, from Tumbling Dice to Happy, puzzled some critics at first but came to be seen as the peak of the Stones.
