Fela Kuti and Afrika 70, released in 1976 (Nigeria), afrobeat.
- Artist: Fela Kuti and Afrika 70
- Year: 1976
- Genre: Afrobeat
- Country: Nigeria
Overview
The title track mocks soldiers told to fall in and attack without minds of their own, a direct taunt to the Nigerian military. Fela wound Afrobeat horns and rhythms past 12 minutes per side, and the raid on his commune after release made the album a monument of musical defiance.
